out of the ordinary

i do not want
a dazzling lace lined
up my waistline, fastened
for me to die.

but an arm around it
to match my breaths
to close my eyes
for eternity that is to exist.

i do not want
a porcelain cake
rubbed over my skin
for me to become a marble.

but a kiss planted
on ever inch
on every dusk
for me to never forget its worth.

i do not want
a ground so lavish
and a roof so high
for me to recall i’m lonely.

but a sunset and beach
and hands intertwined
with our subtle steps
for our ripples to change the course of tides.
